| Woodrow Engineering donates to Samaritan's Feet Nonprofit Ministry |
|
Samaritan’s Feet is a non-profit organization dedicated to changing lives though Shoes of Hope distributions around the world. 300 million people wake up each morning without a pair of shoes to protect their feet from injury and disease. The goal of Samaritan’s Feet is to provide shoes to 10 million of these individuals in the next 10 years. Samaritan's Feet had seen the Ritz Stick Foot Measuring Device and contacted Woodrow Engineering to explain their charitable organization. They had a distinct need for a durable and light weight foot measuring device - with ten million pairs of feet needing to be sized world wide. Luckily, the fOOter had just become available. With a philanthropists' spirit, Mike Ball of Woodrow Engineering donated th 1st batch of 72 fOOters. To date, Samaritan's Feet has received 216 fOOter foot measuring devices at either donated or reduced costs and are pleased to be able to help support this great organization “Foot measurers are difficult to use on mission trips because of their inherent inflexibility. Since the invention of the fOOter™, it is now possible to pack many more measurers for our trips. The fOOter™ is well-built and durable. When used properly, they have lasted through a number of foreign and domestic trips. The color makes them easy to spot in a packed supply box. Because they fold in half, they are able to be put in a shirt pocket. It’s a welcome addition that helps make our shoe distributions flow that much smoother.” Phil Campbell & Jim Sellers |
| Until your baby can stand alone, he / she does not need to wear shoes. Tight or rigid shoes can alter the natural development of a child's feet. |
Unlike the Brannock foot measurer, the fOOter & Ritz Stick size men, women and children - all with one inexpensive device.
